AMBIGRAM MIGOMAGI by HARIS

Hello lagi, dan senang sekali bisa posting sesuatu lagi hari ini, terlebih kami membawa kabar gembira juga. Ada Artwork keren yang dibuatkan oleh teman kami bernama Haris, dia merupakan seorang desainer grafis yang kini sedang bekerja untuk sebuah majalah di Bandung, karyanya yang lain pernah ikut terpajang juga di 1001 desain cover majalah CONCEPT pada kisaran tahun 2007 kalau tidak salah. Kali ini Haris sedang giat mengulik ambigram, sebuah langgam seni tipografi yang memungkinkan sebuah komposisi huruf memiliki lebih dari satu sudut pandang pembacaan, bisa dari arah membacanya atau orientasinya (misal: jika komposisi hurufnya dirotasi, maka akan terbaca sama), selengkapnya bisa dibaca di tautan ini, atau silakan googling saja :). Hi, we're back!wow, we're so happy to be able to post something new today, especially when it is about good news.We have a cool artwork made by our Friend; Haris. He's a graphic designer who's now working at magazine in Bandung. Another artwork of his, has been also published in CONCEPT magazine 1001 cover competition, sometime around year 2007. BY now, He's been working on an Ambigram, it is a typography art that allows composition of letters to have more than one reading view, it could from the direction or orientation (If we rotate the letters composition, it will read the same). Artwork ini pernah kita pasang sebagai header pada blog ini, tapi sebetulnya tadinya bukan diperuntukkan sebagai header, melainkan disiapkan untuk desain pada produk (t-shirt) yang saat ini sedang digarap. Tunggu saja ya...

once we had put this artwork as a header for this blog, although initially we made this artwork not for the header purpose, but for our t-shirt design that we've been workin on. So stick around for the latest up date about our up coming product :)

Woww... ada kabar bagus buat Migomagi Brand, dan selamat juga untuk sang desainer, karena karyanya yang berjudul Warm Skull Wallpaper (dalam blog ini) berhasil dimuat di blog Skull-A-Day. 

Tentang skulladay.blogspot.com: Blog yang awalnya dibuat sebagai projek pribadi (satu hari satu tengkorak selama setahun) yang diinisiasi Noah Scalin ini, sekarang menjadi blog partisipatoris dengan kontributor dari berbagai negara. Saat tulisan ini dimuat, postingan blog "Skull-A-Day" sudah mencapai 1386 buah semenjak tahun 2007. "Skull-a-Day" bermaterikan image skull/tengkorak dalam berbagai variasi.

About skulladay.blogspot.com: This blog initially been made for a personal project (one skull per day for year) which was initiated by Noah Scalin, and now has been evolving into a partipatoric blog with contributors coming from around the globe. By now, the blog has been posting 1386 pieces since year 2007. The contents of "Skull-a-Day" are the skull image in various look and means. 

Briefly, this is the most dashing “SKULL” blog that we’ve ever knew, and we’re planning to keep visit it regularly since the first time we got there. Dalam rangka memeriahkan bulan ini yang bertepatan dengan bulan Ramadhan, bulan yang untuk beberapa orang sangat identik dengan aktifitas-aktifitas ibadah. 

Lalu jika berbicara kaitannya dengan fashion, maka untuk di Indonesia khususnya, sarung sudah menjadi pakaian yang lumrah untuk ditemui, apalagi menjelang lebaran. Alih-alih memproduksi sarung, kami lebih senang untuk membagi-bagikan secara gratis wallpaper untuk desktop komputer teman-teman. Silakan acak corak, silakan diunduh, pattern sarung.

In order to merry the holly month of Ramadhan, which for some this month is quite identical with performing religious services. And when we talked about its relation to fashion, particularly in Indonesia where the majority of its citizen are Moslem, the sarong has become the common outfit to be found, especially when it came close to the end of Holly month of Ramadhan, the Iedul Fitri fiesta :)
